House Below Productions is a home studio originally based in Longview, WA, serving Nashville for a season, and now located in Boise, ID. Our philosophy is based around innovation: discovering new sounds, new styles; creating original, creative music that will wrap you up and take you home.

Mitchell Maldonado
OWNER/PRODUCER/ENGINEER/MUSICIAN
Mitchell has worked in virtually every aspect of the music industry. After studying recording in music school in Santa Fe, he embarked upon a diverse career that includes touring with various bands (most notably the CCM band The Neverclaim), playing a variety of instruments. Since 2009, Mitchell has worked in studios across the country, from Albuquerque to Boise, Kansas City to Nashville. He has also worked as a live audio engineer in the Portland, OR area as well as for touring bands while on the road. He currently resides in Boise, ID and works as a Songwriter/Producer for House Below, and is the A/V Director for Vineyard Boise.

Jake Nielsen
ENGINEER/MUSICIAN
Jake has been a staple of the local music scene in Boise for years. He studied recording in Memphis and he’s worked in local recording studios, as a live audio engineer and as a musician playing guitar, keys and synth. As well as working as an engineer & studio musician at House Below, Jake also runs his own studio, Gage Street Studios.
